Please bear with me as I build this bit of the site, I am still working on the backend.

For the time being, it should work fine, but the selection of photos will be limited - being here in Resolute, bandwidth is scarce and it would take forever to upload so many photos. Hopefully it will be all built by the time I get back to England and I can put up plenty of shots.

» Polar Race 2007 ~ 7 pictures

The Polar Race is a race from Resolute Bay, Canada up to the 1996 certified Magnetic North Pole position. The racers walk / ski the whole way.

I was there in a technical role, keeping the website up to date and managing the IT at Race Control.

This is me in the Polar Race Control Center. Waving like an idiot. Many long hours were spent sitting at that desk, updating the Polar Race website and even coding this one!

The plane being loaded to take off at Checkpoint 2 on the north coast of Bathurst Island. The sunsets up there are amazing.
